History

The Gow family have been associated with the bakery and confectionery sectors for five generations and several family members are actively involved in the present business that bears the name of its founder, Harry Gow.

Harry Gow began trading independently in July 1979 from a retail counter within the bakery, supplemented by two retail sales vans. Over the next few years the business evolved, initially by establishing several retail counters within sub-post offices and family grocery stores, and later through the development of the present network of Harry Gow retail bakery shops.
