There have been two big ticks on our checklist lately:
-
Scotland qualifying for the World Cup
-
Fairways reopening again
And what a week it’s been.
After a slight disruption to services earlier this year, we’re delighted to say that our Harry Gow Fairways shop is back open, and now happily trading from a very classy wee portakabin.
It might not be the setup we originally planned, but it’s doing the job beautifully by keeping the bakes flowing.
As always, reopening day was celebrated in proper Harry Gow style too, with the first 100 customers through the door bagging themselves a free slice of cake – which felt like the only correct way to mark such a momentous occasion.
Same Faces. Same Bakes. Slightly Different Walls.
We’re especially pleased to have our Fairways team back together again, serving familiar faces and catching up with customers who’ve told us just how much they missed their regular stop. And while the walls might look a little different for now, the welcome is exactly the same.
Inside our new temporary home, you’ll still find everything you expect from Harry Gow. Freshly baked favourites, plenty of smiles and the kind of chat that turns a quick visit into part of your day.
For the team, it’s all about cracking on and moving forward, and that’s exactly what we’re doing. Fresh bakes, friendly service and a sense of normality returning to Fairways.
Oh, and Scotland didn’t do too badly either!
