On the 28th March 2019, Eden Court hosted the opening night of Scottish Ballet’s 50th anniversary season. This included a world premiere performance followed by a big birthday party for the dancers, orchestra, audience and guests. This is big news for Inverness as Eden Court was picked as the venue over those in the central belt.
To celebrate, Eden Court hosted a Gala Evening with a reception and dinner beforehand, which was attended by the Culture Minister Fiona Hyslop.
Eden Court surprised Scottish Ballet at the party with a big 50th birthday cake from our Harry Gow Bakery. We're really delighted with how it turned out, beautifully iced and adorned with an edible pair of ballet pumps.
